THE 'BIG WRITE'
The BIG WRITE, like the BIG DRAW, is another exciting event that has been held in our school.
The Big Write! Do you remember the big draw? Well…this year we had the ‘BIG WRITE!’ Instead of giant pictures we had giant pieces of writing. During this fascinating event we had to write about something/someone/somewhere special, on huge pieces of paper which is why the event is called the BIG WRITE. The BIG WRITE was a great opportunity, not just for the school to get together but, also for parents to see our amazing pieces of writing. Our fantastic teachers helped to build a colossal, mesmerizing tent. Being inside the tent was a great experience for parents to see how hard we work. Both inside and outside was covered in cardboard and paper. Some people did not write in the tent because they wrote on walls and the floor. The writing is amazing from Y3 to Y6. Some pieces will be on this page for everybody to read. We really, really enjoyed it and we hope everybody who came did as well. Khateejah, Mariyah, Saana - Y6 My garage You should really see my garage! It is so full of stuff that you can only just walk through it: you could be hit by a falling roof box, which contains our suit cases for our holiday. I know, because it fell on me and as a result I got a large bruise in the shape of a pear! My bike lives in there, leaning against the white garden chairs. I love my bike: 18 gears, comfy saddle, shiny silver and red frame and thick tyres with loads of grip. In one corner there is a stack of plastic and cardboard boxes. Do you want to know what was in them? They were full of outdoor toys and equipment. There were water guns, Frisbees’ and lazerguns. When people see it they immediately go “WOW”: even Mr. Bainbridge, when he came to take the photo. Dan W
